Bingo Shabbat
It's been way way too long since we've had HODG Shabbat. I wonder, have you missed it as much as I have? Well, don't worry, cuz it's back.
For those of you who've never been, or for whom Shabbat is something you've just heard about, here's the deal: HODG Shabbat is for everyone. You don't need to be Jewish, or believe in God or whatever. All are welcome. Also, it's totally casual. No one cares if you show up in your pajamas. In fact, they will be jealous.
Usually for Shabbat we have a speaker, but this go around we want to keep things fun and low key so instead we are playing BINGO. I don't know what the prizes will be. But there will definitely be prizes.
So let’s review the rules: 1. Dress as casually as you want. You could wear pajamas and no one would care. 2. All are welcome. You can believe in any god or no god. Yes, there will be a small amount of Hebrew but anyone from any tribe will get the gist -- it's about community and us all being one! 3. We supply the dinner, we ask that you bring drinks or dessert to share.
