Earthjustice Webinar

Candice Youngblood, the Earthjustice lawyer who spoke to us at the last HODG Shabbat, is inviting us all to a webinar hosted by the LA County Electric Truck and Bus Coalition to learn how we can use the Olympics to accelerate the overdue transition to electric buses in LA. 

Ok, I am sure you are thinking, Electric Truck and Bus Coalition? You have got to be kidding. I am way too cool for that!  No, I'm not kidding.  And no, you're not too cool. 

Electrifying buses is a critical step towards getting rid of unhealthy air pollution.  So if you're talking about cool -- nothing's cooler than that.  The thing is, LA Metro has not been delivering.  The LA 2028 Olympics actually provides us with the opportunity to advocate for public transportation that is cleaner and will create good, local jobs for working families.  

Also, when Earthjustice tells me to do something, I do it.  So should we all!
