Organizing for Prop 50

No surprise that studies show that humans are more likely to take action – vote, support an issue, come to a meeting – if they hear about it from someone they already know and trust.

That’s what this action is about.  We are going to come together, open up our contact lists, and email or text all the California Dems in there about Prop 50 (we will have sample emails that you can personalize etc.)

I've already started doing this: reaching out to people some of whom I haven’t spoken to in decades.  And guess what: some of them write back!  “It’s so good to hear from you… how are you… etc.  

Obviously, we could each do this at home alone, but I’m a library/coffee shop girl.  I like doing solo work in the company of others.  If that sounds like you, then come on over!  Don’t forget your phone/lap top!
