Planned Parenthood’s been defunded. That you already know. But do you know what a defunded PP means? Or what we should each be doing about it? And what the heck does the new preliminary injuction mean?

The answers are complicated, and changing by the day.  Which is why we are hosting a VIRTUAL CONVERSATION with SUE DUNLAP, the PREZ of PLANNED PARENTHOOD LA.

She will be joining us for a casual discussion about what defunding means for the organization, for patients, for health care workers, how – or if – the state is stepping into help, and what the organization needs from us.

It’s interesting, and I think meaningful that every time we do an assessment of topics HODGers are interested in, Repro Rights is NEVER on the list.  I think a lot of us are all still living in fantasy land and believe that whatever happens to Planned Parenthood, to contraception, to abortion etc. isn’t going to affect us.  That is very mistaken.  Sue Dunlap will tell you why. 

All are welcome. Especially your friends who claim they believe in the right for women to control their bodies, but don't do a damn thing about it.
