Reproductive Health in America

Community & Conversation: Reproductive Health in America

Join us for a not-to-be-missed event, co-hosted by HODG HQ & Westside HODG, to mark the anniversary of the Dobbs decision. This dynamic and informative collaboration between the Los Angeles Guild for Reproductive Health (LAGRH) and the UCLA Center on Reproductive Health, Law & Policy (CRHLP) promises to be a vital, participatory discussion about the state of reproductive health – locally and nationally.

GUEST PANELISTS: LAGRH Board Member Dr. Kim Bader, MD and CRHLP Attorney Cathren Cohen.
MODERATOR: Amanda Smith, LAGRH Board Member and founder of Beverly Hills for Choice
DATE: Thursday, June 11th
TIME: 6:00pm - 8:00pm
WHERE: Feminist Majority in Beverly Hills - 433 S. Beverly Dr., Beverly Hills
RSVP: https://forms.gle/JpN9uLhcNpFjNpDh6

The Los Angeles Guild for Reproductive Health (LAGRH) is a nonprofit, all-volunteer group dedicated to raising awareness and funds to support front-line organizations that provide equitable access for reproductive healthcare services to those in need from coast to coast. We’ll learn about the evolving reproductive health landscape from LAGRH board member and retired OB/GYN, Dr. Kim Bader, who served as a Senior Associate in the Keck School of Medicine at USC for over 25 years. Dr. Bader continues to educate the public on the precarious state of reproductive health care in America, including its impact on physician training.

She will be joined by Cathren Cohen, staff attorney at the UCLA Center on Reproductive Health, Law, and Policy (CRHLP) who will update us on the rapidly shifting legislative landscape and efforts to limit access to care through abortion bans throughout the U.S. Prior to joining UCLA, Ms. Cohen was a Staff Attorney at the National Health Law Program and a Law Fellow with Lambda Legal’s Youth In Out-of-Home Care Project.
