Meet + Greet with Abdul El-Sayed, candidate for US Senate in Michigan
Ok so, Michigan’s current U.S. Senator, Dem Gary Peters, announced that he will not seek re-election in 2026. This means the seat he holds will be open, and because Michigan is Michigan -- a state that narrowly voted for Bitch Baby in '24 -- and the Senate is at a 53 R - 47 Dem split, the stakes are high.
There are 3 Dems who have already thrown their hats in the ring: Haley Stevens (US Congress Member), Mallory McMorrow (State Senator) and physician, epidemiologist, and public health leader, Abdul El-Sayed.
The Timberman-Redlichs are hosting an event in support of Abdul El-Sayed. They will be joined by co-hosts Jon Favreau and Jon Lovett of the Pod Save America podcast, and singer-songwriter Harper Simon.
This in-person event is a chance to hear directly from Abdul El-Sayed about his vision and what he thinks it will take for Democrats to deliver real wins for working people. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions -- which I hope you do -- and be part of an honest, specific conversation about where our politics need to go next.
