HODG Recycling Tour
Another fab EARTH MONTH activity here. We are touring a recycling plant. If you've have never toured a factory // plant // industrial complex, you don't know what you're missing. I love these kinds of things, and getting a behind-the-scenes tour of how things work.
I think we have Kreigh Hampel to thank for this. Kreigh, the former head of recycling in Burbank, gave HODG a fantastic zoom where he went over the do's and don'ts of recycling. Because of him I now carry an empty yogurt container to hold my restaurants leftovers. Ok, that is a total lie. But I keep meaning too! I want to be that person so badly!
Anyway — this is a behind-the-scenes tour with Athens Services, who handle our city’s waste. It’s a chance to see what really happens to all the stuff we toss — and maybe walk away a little smarter (and slightly more responsible) than we arrived. Come nerd out with us. It’s cooler than it sounds.
